LEGO Landmark Quiz: How Well Do You Know These Iconic Cities?

Here’s another nerdy confession: we love LEGO. A lot. As I write this from Travel While Nerdy HQ, I can see at least 10 completed LEGO sets just in our living room—plus plenty more scattered in boxes or perched on shelves around the place.

So when it came time to build our next travel-themed trivia game, inspiration was literally all around us.

The LEGO Architecture series began in 2008, the result of a collaboration between architect and LEGO fan Adam Reed Tucker and the LEGO Group. Since then, over 60 official sets have been released, each celebrating a famous building or skyline from around the world.

This visual trivia game challenges you to name cities from their iconic LEGO Architecture sets. From skylines to landmarks, each image tests your knowledge of geography, architecture, and little plastic bricks. Whether you're a city nerd, LEGO collector, or looking for a fun game to share, see how many of these you can guess correctly?

Click the button beneath each image to reveal the answer and test your architecture and geography chops. (Just to be clear, we’re asking for city, not the landmark)

Let’s go!

Answer: New York, USA

Answer: Himeji, Japan

Answer: Plano, Illinois, USA

Answer: Berlin, Germany

Answer: Washington, D.C., USA

Answer: Chicago, USA. Nerdy Note: this was the VERY first set in the Architecture series inspired by the skyline of Adam’s hometown of Chicago

Answer: London, UK

Answer: Singapore

Answer: Paris, France

So, how did you go, did any of them trip you up? (no pun intended)

How many of these landmarks have you visited in real life?

We hope you enjoyed this game. We’re planning more nerdy/travel trivia games in the future. If you have any you would like to see, reach out on our contact page or on Instagram.
