Disney Adventure adds Langkawi, Malayasia to Singapore cruises from December 2026
Disney Adventure is heading to Malaysia. Disney Cruise Line has announced that select four-night sailings from Singapore will add a port call at Langkawi from 31 December 2026, giving the ship its first destination beyond Singapore.
With the announcement of Disney Cruise Line’s Fall 2027 and Early 2028 itineraries today, many were focused on the line’s return to New York, the line’s San Juan debut and some exciting Panama and South American ports.
For us, it was a single line in the press release that stood out: the Disney Adventure is getting its first port of call.

The new itineraries reiterated that the Adventure would still be sailing three- and four-night sailings from September to December 2027. Although the announcement comes as part of the 2027/2028 sailing dates, the new Adventure sailings actually begin this year:
“[S]elect sailings from December 31, 2026, through May 2027 will feature a new port of call: Langkawi, Malaysia. In addition to the exciting offerings onboard, guests will have the opportunity to explore Langkawi’s lush rainforests and scenic coastline ashore. “
This was also confirmed by an email to passengers with existing bookings on sailings starting 31 December:
“As part of our continued efforts to bring even more memorable destinations to our Guests, we are adding a new port of call, Langkawi, Malaysia, to your sailing's itinerary. This exciting day visit onto the island offers even more opportunities for exploration and adventure on Day 3 of your 4-night voyage.”

While specific port adventure will be available for booking shortly, the Disney Cruise Line page has already been updated to list some of the highlights of the port day.
One of the big photo-ready excursions is Langkawi SkyCab and SkyBridge, where you can also take a gondola ride above a rainforest.
They also list Island Hopping, the white sands and water sports of Pantai Cenang, the Underwater World Langkawi acquarium, the iconic Dataran Lang/Eagle Square, Luah Town and duty-free shopping, Tanhung Rhu Beach and the Kilim Karst Geoforest Park.

Planning a Disney Adventure cruise?
Disney’s biggest cruise ship definitely got a whole lot more appealing. If you’ve already booked a cruise, you don’t have to do anything — if your sailing is scheduled for Langkawi, it’s now part of your cruise.
