Closer look: Disney Adventure cruise ship adult areas & deck plans

If you’ve been eagle-eyed in following every scrap of Disney Adventure news, like we have, you might have spotted that Disney quietly released updated deck plans for the upcoming Disney Adventure on their official site.

Set to launch in December 2025 out of Singapore, the Disney Adventure will be Disney Cruise Line’s first true “theme park at sea,” packed with rides, immersive themed areas, and more merchandise shopping opportunities than ever before.

But what about adults? While we already had teasers about bars, lounges, and signature restaurants, these newly released deck maps reveal the full scope of the adult offerings across a whopping 20 decks. The short version? Disney Adventure might deliver some of the largest and most ambitious adult-exclusive spaces Disney Cruise Line has ever designed.

🛳️ Overview of adult spaces on the Disney Adventure

  • Palo Trattoria - an adults-only speciality dining space
  • Taverna Portorosso - a sports bar inspired by Luca
  • Buccaneer Bar - a swashbuckling pub inspired by Captain Hook
  • Tiana’s Bayou Lounge - a lounge bar modelled on The Princess and the Frog.
  • Spellbound - Snow White's Evil Queen inspires the 'potions' at this cocktail bar
  • Spa, Salon & Fitness
  • Speciality shopping

Bars and Lounges

Market Bar (Deck 17) - Set midship on the starboard side, Market Bar is perfectly positioned next to the Pixar Market rotational dining venue. It’s a convenient place to grab a cocktail before or after dinner, with a lively atmosphere that blends seamlessly into the family dining areas while still catering to adults.

Garden Bar (Deck 11) - The deck map shows this in the open section on Deck 11, and we read this as overlooking the large Disney Imagination Garden section on Deck 10.

Taverna Portorossa (Deck 11) - A sports bar with a bright red Vespa parked outside may sound like a few neighbourhoods we known. Inspired by the Disney/Pixar film Luca, the aim is to make you feel like you’re drinking in coastal Italy.

Disney Adventure deck plans - Aft view of Deck 10 and Deck 11 showing Wayfinder Bar and Palo Trattoria accessible from both decks.

Wayfinder Bar (Deck 10 & 11) - It looks like you can watch the wake trail behind from this very large bar on Deck 10. Our reading of the map shows it as accessible from Deck 11 as well.

Spellbound (Deck 6) - With its three bars, Deck 6 sounds amazing. This one is themed on Snow White, with a specific Evil Queen twist. This “mysterious lounge in the woodlands” is said to have a few potions you might dark to try,.

Royal Court Lounge (Deck 6) -This looks to be another bar in the middle of the deck, and the Royal Court branding is often associated with Princesses.

Buccaneer Bar (Deck 6) - Inspired by Captain Hook and Peter Pan, this is the pub-style watering hole. You’ll probably find us here most days on any given cruise. There’s also the promise of “2 private Captain’s Quarters banquettes.”

Tiana’s Bayou Lounge (Deck 5) - Very much in the vein of the French Quarter Lounge on the Disney Wonder, relax here with cocktails, coffee and beignets.

Premium dining

Palo Trattoria (Decks 10 & 11) - Would it be a Disney Cruise without Palo? The maps have this listed at aft section on decks Decks 10 and 11. Is this on two decks or simply an entrance on one level? We’ll know more soon hopefully, but as long as there is brunch we’re happy.

Mike & Sulley’s Flavours of Asia (Deck 10) - The second main premium restaurant area. Based on the restuarant in Monsters Inc., this has four main areas: a full-service Japanese steakhouse, a lively Teppanyaki room, Omakase-style dining, and an outdoor sushi-sashimi experience. Perfect for a date night. Kids can come too, we guess

Fitness and spas

Infinite Bliss Spa - Elemis at Sea (Deck 10) - Find the usual spa and beauty treatments, Rainforest Rooms, juice bar, consultation rooms and more. Reservations usually required. Up on Decks 18 and 19, there’s also the Concierge exclusive spas and fitness centres.

Fitness Centre (Deck 10) - Four days at sea without a land break can be a long time. There’s plenty of places to walk on the Adventure, but the gym is at the exact halfway mark between top and bottom.

The D Lounge and private karaoke rooms can be found on Deck 7 of the Disney Adventure.

Nightclubs and other fun

D Lounge (Deck 7) - A staple of the Magic, Wonder, Dream and Fantasy, this nightclub/hangout sells drinks and hosts other games and entertainment.

Private karaoke rooms (Deck 7) - Taking a leaf out of Virgin Voyages, there’s speciality rooms for those of us who don’t like belting out Taylor and Chappell covers in front of people. Expect these to book up.

Adult pools and relaxation areas

Infinity Bar and pool (Deck 18) - While not strictly adults-only, the Infinity Bar’s bar service is geared toward grown-ups looking to relax with a drink. Located near the top of the ship, this swim-up pool area promises spectacular panoramic views inspired by Tony Stark’s home in Iron Man.

Tips for adults cruising on Disney Adventure

Whether you are travelling alone or have sent the kids to the Imagineer Labs for the day, there’s a few key tips to enjoying a Disney Cruise as an adult.

  • Book specialty dining early — spots fill up fast. Book as soon as your pre-cruise window opens (it varies for Silver, Gold, Platinum and so on).

  • Visit adult spaces off-peak — mid-afternoon is often quieter.

  • Check age limits — most adult areas are 18+, but some allow 16+ (or younger) with supervision.

  • Reserve spa treatments ahead — they book out quickly.

  • Watch for adult-only activities — tastings, mixology classes, and nightlife are usually listed in the daily schedule.
